perennial
Hooray! Intercepted by Dinner.
Gadzooks, Lexinom! Lighten up-- Don't take everything said here personal... As my tagline says "I've got a twisted sense of humor, and everything amuses me."
That said, bring me... an Irish Coffee, heavy on the Irish, as you Seattle 'Starbucks' Seahags surely know how to make coffee--
Time to take her home...
1-1 for the day, hehe 4 ints isn't good luck. Hate the Chargers, loathe the Broncos, so why not Boston?
Well, I wanted was this... Irish with my coffee--
Thanks anyway, big-- I know it is the thought... that counts!

Colts Theme Song: 1975, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes
“Some people call it jinx, some say it ain’t my day...
Bad Luck! That’s what you got, that’s what you got...”
(#15 US pop, #1 dance charts)
I see where the NFL basically admitted that having Bruno Mars for the halftime show at the Super Bowl was a lame pick, so now they’ve added the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia police say someone broke into a home belonging to Eagles star receiver DeSean Jackson and stole a handgun and more than $250,000 in cash and jewelry.
Investigators said Saturday the burglary happened sometime earlier in the week at Jackson's home in South Philadelphia, not far from the team's practice facility.
Police say the cash and jewelry was taken from a safe.
A silver 9mm handgun is also missing. No arrests have been made.
And I bet he pimped up his silver 9mm... with Pearl Handles?
I've not watched a Super Bowl Halftime for years and years and if it were up to me... I'd have the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band march and the Tyler Junior College Apache Belles strut their stuff for the halftime.
That, I would watch... and enjoy--
Thanks for the great stories about Bobby Layne #22 and the Lions of the 1950s when I was a kid growing up in Detroit. Bobby was a master at squeezing out wins by running out the clock and leaving the other team no time to win or tie the score. Between the Lions and the “Production Line” of the Red Wings, Detroit was boss in those days.
We knew them when:
—When Pete Carroll used to coach the Patriots, Red Sox/Pats/Boston sports hater “Butch from the Cape” (now
deceased)on sports talk radio used to call him
Pete the Poodle
—A friend of mine from Cleveland recalls when the Browns coach back when used to be called “Bill Dull-ichick”
Combined kicker/punters could be the future, free up a roster spot (but trouble if the one guy gets hurt).
I am only vaguely aware of who Bruno Mars is and find him or her to be an unsatisfactory choice. May I suggest, Ace of Base.
How 'bout combined quarterback/punters, like Steve Spurrier and Danny White?
The Poodle is sure well liked around here. But having a winning team works wonders for that! Did you watch the youtube song?
