A Swedish pensioner has miraculously regained her eyesight after spending more than a decade in the dark. There goes her disability check.
But I'm sure she is grateful to be able to see again.

I'm no brain expert but this suggests that at least some of the brain tissue damaged by her stroke somehow regenerated or another pathway for the visual signals was developed.
