: Currently, the stables consist of 64,000 square feet of valuable real estate on lots that could accomodate up to 150,000 square feet of development. These lots could be sold for new development. Bingo!!!!!

No, NYC deserves the damage. I don’t know why the stock exchange has to be there
why not Charlotte or Atlanta?

Is this common knowledge in NYC?
To: digger48
Comrade DeBlasio behaving in a manner common to Communist Dictators throughout history. Too bad citizens under 60 years of age were never taught history.

First they put the existing Carriage businesses out of business.
Then they ‘repeal’ it.
Then his good friend will start his own horse and carriage business and clean up.
This is the NY two-step all over again.
A successful business get puts out of business by a new one that is given tax credits the existing business does not get. The new company is touted as providing “new jobs”. The old company is put out of business by the new company.

This is going to be fun to watch.
When the NYC is in need of the bailout, I fear that the headline will not be
THE ONE TO DE BLASIO: DROP DEAD
To: Mr. K
Nothing to do with “cash”, instead it has to do with horse excrement, the good Mayor doesn’t want the competition.

I’ve long stated that the deepest, fondest desire in the heart of any leftist is to see those that disagree with them punished at the hand of the State.
I’m thinking I’m starting to see a parallel amongst conservatives... I’m guilty of it as well.
I desire to see liberals punished by experiencing the consequences of their own ideology. I desire that greatly.
