Bet they could find a scandal a day on the new mayor if they bothered to try.

: Currently, the stables consist of 64,000 square feet of valuable real estate on lots that could accomodate up to 150,000 square feet of development. These lots could be sold for new development. Bingo!!!!!

Is this common knowledge in NYC?

Comrade DeBlasio behaving in a manner common to Communist Dictators throughout history. Too bad citizens under 60 years of age were never taught history.

First they put the existing Carriage businesses out of business.
Then they ‘repeal’ it.
Then his good friend will start his own horse and carriage business and clean up.
This is the NY two-step all over again.
A successful business get puts out of business by a new one that is given tax credits the existing business does not get. The new company is touted as providing “new jobs”. The old company is put out of business by the new company.

It’s 2014 and horseless carriages have been the way of the world for 100 years.
Times to get the horse drawn carriages out of the city as all they do is block traffic.
