Thank you, Greeneyes... I am going to give it a go. My high school friend’s Mother kept and re-used bulbs for years and years. I never learned her “trick” and she unfortunately is now gone. I do know that around Thanksgiving, she got busy with the bulbs (and they ALWAYS bloomed just a day or two before Christmas). Hugs to you, Mom

The seeds I have planted now require eight weeks before they can go outside so that makes them ready by March. They will spend some days outside in the greenhouse, then be put out of the greenhouse with net over them to keep the killers away from them.

I had two types of onion that need eight weeks so I thought they all did and screwed up by planning two types that don’t need that long. I’ll figure out what to do about that when they are bigger. All the four onion types are up now.
