OK,
I like music, and I find that certain stories or comments that are posted on FR can be expressed with a simple "Riff".
I can post pics and .gif's but I would like to post an audio component as well.
I would like to be able to create a post that has a "Mouse-over" function that is a simple "start stop" for an audio link/file.
I know it can be done, but I'm not sure if FR allows it.
Mouse-over functions seem to be best suited in JAVA ?
I don't know.
A number of years ago, I found the "Joe Cartoon" website. It's changed since then, but at that time you could mouse-over certain icons and it would generate sounds. Very cool.
I want to post comments with imbedded links to audio.
The audio, clearly, needs to be hosted on another site.
The final result would be a text or image post, that when someone rolled their mouse over, it would start the audio. Roll off, it stops. Roll on, it starts again from the beginning.
Just a thought.
I think it could add to the FR posters intent/expression or position, by cutting down on some long winded explanation.
Some of us are on dialup.
We like FR because it is user friendly for us.
Animated stuff slow us down slower than we already are.
If you want to share a vid or audio, post a link. Maybe (or not) we will visit your link.
I found the following 3 websites using the search words “mouse over” “gif”
They apparently explain (I couldn’t figure it out) how to make gifs like the two I posted above activate on a mouse-over. Maybe you’ll have better luck.

Thanks.
I really just want a mouse over Audio function.
I’m have a hard time finding an audio host that doesn’t require the user to hit “Play” when they land there.
This is why I want a mouse-over function.
For audio !!!!!!
As an Example
I would like to introduce Sarah Palin
with this sound under certain circumstances.
But with an audio mouse-over, in order to NOT interrupt the story with additional steps, but to add an emotional component (with a musical riff) based on the context of the story.

Nice
I get it. At least it could be done in the OP, because if every post had audio it could get weird
