None of us are worthy, Bill. The miracle of Christ is that God has made those who turn from their sin to Christ worthy. Those who cling to sin have only themselves to blame for their fate before God.
God wants people to turn from sin. He has never been about accommodating them in it. Neither should we. Mistake? Hardly.
