Sad...it doesn’t have anything to do with Garrett or staff.

It has to do with Jerry Jones. The fish rots at the head.

Yeah, yeah I know we have had some wins under his ownership. But usually in spite of him.

No coach of any stature will coach under Jones. Parcells tried and we see how that worked out. The candy a** players got their widdle feelings hurt.

Garrett should be out regardless. There is no excuse for the bullshiite play calling that has been going on under his regime. 2 weeks in a row DeMarco Murray has averaged over 7yds per carry and the Cowboys run the ball less than 20 times in a game. ESPN showed a very telling stat this morning on their pre game show. The Cowboys pass the ball 63% of the time when they have the lead. The rest of the league passes 37% percent of the time with the lead. That is just ignorant. You know your defense couldn’t stop a Pop Warner team, yet you don’t do the one thing that keeps them off the field. JUST RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!!!!!!

Don’t get me started on the defense. Monty Kiffen is a friggin joke. He needs to join his idiot son on the unemployment line along with Garrett.

Only in Jones world do you reduce a coach’s power, force employees on him, then hold him responsible for the results. Of course Garrett should have seen it coming, it’s the same 2-step firing technique that got him the job.

Fire the owner. Who admitted in interview that he would have fired himself.

It won’t matter. No highly qualified coach will work for Jerry Jones.

@ Post 6 - spot on and I am no Cowboys fan. Why they continue to throw the ball around like a 2 minute offense when they have a lead is beyond me. Murray is a very solid RB and if he had the carries he should have this season they would have 10 wins.

I can’t help myself about Jones - pure Schadenfreude. Jones is an idiot owner, but otherwise seems to be a decent guy who gives much to charity.

Re: Ed Werder of ESPN says?

I would find it hard to believe him... if he says the Cowboys beat the Redskins today--

And big tells me... my Boys did won!

Very well said.

I just loved it when last week JJ said the loss against Green Bay was “entertainment”.

Keep the owner, get a new GM. Jerry Jones, who significant donates to Republican candidates and has bravely stood in opposition to the Rooney Rule, is a fine owner but a terrible GM. He's a very shrewd businessman and superb at marketing but not -- absolutely not -- a good football manager.

Right - you got a team of guys with some that don’t even know the fundamentals of football. Example today - the guy quits defending when the whistle has not even been blown. Now that’s the kind of players the Cowboys have a passel of right now. Fire the coach; fix nothing.

Changing coaches for the Cowboys is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

I understand, but he insists on being the GM. And even if he hired a great GM, his style is to micro-manage as he has done his coaches.

this is not about his being a conservative or good businessman - which are not at question. As you said, it’s only about football.

And it all involves ego because JJ thinks he can manage football - which he’s proving, almost in his own words, that he cannot.

I was a life-long Dallas fan until JJ took over........

Glad to have him as a conservative though...
