No, none of you get it. And every DD or DC item sold proves me right. It is amusing to watch, though.

Exactly... the Cracker Barrel’s animatronic redneck figures weren’t actually supposed to speak...

I don’t like Cracker Barrel anyway. Only place I ever ate that can ruin TOAST of all things.

My wife thinks I am crazy. But really, I can’t stand their food. And I was RAISED on that kind of cooking but it just doesn’t stand up to Mom’s.

They removed all the Phil items from their stores, probably because they rather wisely don’t want their tiny little stores packed with mobs of people who think buying DD merchandise is somehow part of a moral crusade.

Did they pull Duck Dynasty products because they condemn Phil Robertson, or because they want to protest A&E network?

I have not purchased Duck Dynasty merchandise, and, following this event, I have decided to not buy any in the future, because I don’t want A&E to profit.

Well if you want to support a business that actively bows down to the Bureau of Gay Compliance (a great line I stole from Mark Steyn), then thats your call. As for me, I think I’m going to go pick up some Under Armour today.

According to the article I read, Cracker Barrel is still selling Duck Commander items which is owned by Phil. Duck Dynasty is owned by A&E. So what statement is CB really making?

Exactly when did they pull the merchandise. If it was before GQ, it was a marketing decision. If it was after, maybe there is something to it. They sell lots of gospel CD’s so I’m not for certain they disagree with Phil. Just don’t want to knee jerk something and punish for no reason.

I see the “I’m too intelligent to join with the walmart rubes” crowd is coming out.

Count me in on the boycott. Things like the long lines at Chik-fil-a send a message- no matter how silly or contrived the poo-pooers see it.

Yep, but I already avoid them because their food is crappy and they don’t serve alcohol.

Could happen. Walmart is having a hard time keeping up with Phil supporters. They're selling out of DD stuff. Everyone seems to want DD stuff now.
I think it's pretty cool. People are taking a stand. The homo backlash is huge!

this is all about treating people who have beliefs as criminals.

priests and pastors will be dragged from the pulpits for reading the bible which teaches there is sin in the world

Yeah. That's how I see it. Anyone buying DD from ...anywhere ....is now wearing a pro-Phil message for everyone else to see.

They certainly can’t make gravy like my mom’s. Theirs must come out of a can or package.

I used the contact website. I mentioned their hypocrisy, since they are ‘DD’ stuff, but have other items with a denoted Christian theme, as one might find in a Bible store, all the year long!

The only thing they had going was that they were the only place in my area within Central Louisiana, where I could get a dish of Trout Almandine. And yes, the service was on the order that that Willie Deigel guy with all the cameras would go nuts.

Right now, anyone who goes against DD because of Phil's beliefs (quoted from the Bible) is engaging in religious bigotry.

I kicked them a message (stayed polite) about being disappointed that they decided to go the social-manipulation political route. Wagered that there were more moral Christians in the customer pool than activist homosexuals. Let them know that I will no longer be alert for their establishments when on the road or even locally.
