The Phil Robertson mess. Why isn't gq catching hell?
Posted on 12/20/2013 2:50:28 PM PST by A Cyrenian
gq published the story. No one put a gun to their head.
Why isn't the interviewer having to answer questions?
Weren't they the ones holding the weapon?

Why isn't the interviewer having to answer questions? I'm sure the interviewer was just following orders.

Why? They live to ridicule and make fun of rednecks, conservatives, and Christians.

What did GQ do wrong?
They asked a question, and he answered. If they had twisted his answer, or published an incomplete answer, the family would have complained. They didn’t.

So are you saying gq didn't think there would be any controversy from their decision to run the article?
Don't they have editors that decide what to publish and what to cut?
If Robertson is guilty of anything then gq is even more so.

Gotcha journalism.
This is only a shocking and controversial answer to those who have rejected society’s (collectively, globally, thousands of years of civilization’s) moral code.
They might as well be throwing a hissy fit because someone said grass is green or the sky is blue.

They’re supposed to censor what he said so faggots aren’t offended?
Not their job.
This is a fairly well written piece, again, not a hit job.
If the faggots can’t handle it, they need to get back in the closet.

Phil is hardly a hick. Read up on him. He has a master’s degree and played football. He’s a real man.
