Recently, I heard two women talking about gifts and one said adamantly that her child wanted a sword (for whatever holiday they celebrate I assume). She then mentioned how boys with swords lead to violence by men. Her friend supported that belief by saying “I saw two boys playing with sticks (in a yard). Sticks!” She said how she wanted to stop it immediately because boys playing with sticks would increase the likelihood of violence later in life. Sadly, a male was in this group and he didn’t utter a word.
Next thing you know...............

Damn Skippy! The best Christmas toys I ever got were Army related weapons!...maybe why I joined the US Army later in life...anyways...Boys need to be Boys and electronic guns and neft machine guns are the best presents - loud and popping darts across the house makes for a wild, but enjoyable time!
Apparently archery is coming back in phase and style as well - especially for girls thanks to the Hunger Games, Brave, and now the 2nd installment of the Hobbit...

Yup, I still have my little Daisy bb lever-action from way back when. Found it in the back of my closet while cleaning one day, and that thing is tiny.
We got a 4-gun airsoft “Zombie Hunting” set at K-mart last week. The Red Ryder and two pellet guns are next up for the daughters (already have them). By summer, they’ll be ready for my AR. . .

So here's a caveat: if your kids are anything like these people, maybe you shouldn't buy them guns for Christmas.

There is a opinionated leftist old biddy at he dog park I frequent and we were having a discussion, well I was having a discussion and she was screeching about too many guns in America. I finally had enough of her expert opinion and told her that if she did not want to value her 2nd Amendment rights that was ok but to stay the heck away from mine. I ended the discussion by letting her know I was buying my six year old grandson a .22 for Christmas. She damn near exploded while i walked away laughing.
I don’t like cap guns or suction cup arrows. My kids always got the real thing - bb guns, firearms, or real archery equipment. Real Americans should be comfortable when armed; going around like a helpless liberal is for the Eloi.
