Recently, I heard two women talking about gifts and one said adamantly that her child wanted a sword (for whatever holiday they celebrate I assume). She then mentioned how boys with swords lead to violence by men. Her friend supported that belief by saying “I saw two boys playing with sticks (in a yard). Sticks!” She said how she wanted to stop it immediately because boys playing with sticks would increase the likelihood of violence later in life. Sadly, a male was in this group and he didn’t utter a word.
Was he wearing a red plaid onesie and sipping cocoa?
