Its common knowledge that the Giottos Rocket Blowers and the TSA dont get along. In the past weve told you to just leave it at home unless you want it confiscated with no more reason than it looks like a bomb. But the reason photographer and Canon Rumors forum user Surapon got was a whole lot more entertaining than that.

Cute.
Any other drivers/passengers freak out when they see the snake?
To: PLMerite
Snakes in cars, monkeys in cars, we got them all here in Texas.

Some people at a gas station seemed surprised.
She had more fun at Lowes.
I had her stuffed inside my coat and she poked her head out when a lady walked by and the lady squealed and jumped.
For the rest of the visit, she randomly popped out at people.
Snakes have senses of humor.

These people (TSA) are, by far, the stupidest a-holes on the planet!
Certainly seems to be part of the prerequisites to getting hired to another government union type of job.

I have one of these rocket blowers. I can carry on my tripod and ballhead that could be used as a blunt force truncheon but the TSA is going to confiscate a rubber squeeze blower? I LOL at the ridiculousness that is the TSA.

She was very concerned about that “other snake” she could see outside the car.
Good eyesight and poor comprehension are an unfortunate combination.

It works great, you can stand it on the fins and the tip doesn't pick up crud to transfer to your camera.
If you use a blower periodically it will spare you a lot of later problems.

It looks like an extremely useful gadget, and I didn’t consider that was the reason for the fins.

I find it noteworthy that the guy has to defeat the purpose by cutting off the fins....

I change lenses a lot and and crud on the lens can end up on the sensor. It’s easier to prevent than it is to cure.
