A&E star Phil Robertson made several controversial comments in the latest issue of GQ, on newsstands Dec. 24.
When speaking to GQ, the Duck Dynasty dad spoke openly about his thoughts on homosexuality and various religious groups.
It seems like, to me, a vaginaas a manwould be more desirable than a mans anus. Thats just me. Im just thinking: Theres more there! Shes got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what Im saying? But hey, sin: Its not logical, my man. Its just not logical.

Hard to see what the controversy would be about that.

Living near Atl for the last 20 years... actually in a small town between Atl and the Bama border.. its like homo central around here...Oh, okay, I see where you're coming from. But that's all big cities on both coasts north to south, and certain artsy "destination" towns like Asheville and Savannah, not the whole South, or just the South.
I enjoyed Columbus a lot when we were at Fort Benning.

So, saying “men and women are designed to have sex rather than men and men” is now ‘controversial’.
Sigh.

I’m still searching for the “controversial” part of Phil’s statement. Can’t find it.
To: stuck_in_new_orleans
I don’t think Phil would mind, quite frankly.
He’s already noted that production takes away time from duck hunting.
Phil ROCKS!

Well, the whole show is entirely non-PC. Hunting, celebration of private property rights, firearms, celebration of free enterprise, loving nuclear families, and so on.

Question.
Did you post the GQ headline and an excerpt from the GQ article and yet use the Fox News link?
And why?
Are you looking to get this thread pulled? Hopefully the moderator will fix this and not pull it.

I would bet if they gave most male libs a lie-detector test, they would agree that homosexuality is abnormal. Of course, few or none of them can say that openly in their own circles. In lib land, everyone muse praise homosexuality as being equal to heterosexuality. In fact, about a week ago I had a discussion with one of my lib sisters who refused to acknowledge that homosexuality is even abnormal. I said the usual conservative things, and she said the usual lib things.
So now I am a hater to my sister because I think homosexuality is abnormal, and I don't approve of homosexual marriage, child adoption, and a number of other things. I only approve of the right of homosexuals not to be persecuted for their weird sexual deviations.

You need to apply for a FREE 0bamaTV
The problem with the ObamaTV is that Obama is on it 24/7.

What Phil did was take the discussion in a direction that it entirely logical and correct but generally is avoided especially by those who promote homo acceptance
basically, he moved it away from the usual crap of softer open-to-interpretations concepts such as love and commitment and moved it straight to a discussion about sex. Nothing wrong with that and frankly, it is the only way to win this battle
the definition of marriage doesnt deal with vague concepts.
The most hilarious part of this article is the comments from the GLAAD rep " Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil's lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe
.." said GLAAD rep Wilson Cruz. Something tells me that the group specifically mentioned in the Bible as not inheriting the kingdom of God is not where I would normally go to find out what is true Christianity and what is not. 1 Corinthians 6:9
