Bill Whittle is brilliant. I believe he is the most eloquent conservative spokesman today. This is a description of Nanny-Statism that is so commonplace, that when one of us behind enemy lines has it spelled out the way Bill Whittle does here, what we have succumbed to in most parts of this country hits you across the face like a brisk slap.
"I Can't Believe They Let You Do That!"

And because the Federal Government has eroded the power of the states so greatly, even the places like Texas (A visit to Texas gave Bill Whittle the idea for this commentary) can be corroded by an infestation of liberalism.
I have included links to both YouTube and PJTV since YouTube streams a bit better sometimes on this.
When I watched this, it resonated with every fiber of my American being. What do other Freepers think of this?
I think I finally found the American Mark Steyn.
I wonder how many people picked up on the repeated hilarious “they gave me blanks” comment.
The comments have a number of libtards who don’t understand the bit. Let them eat fascism.
That is one of the things I really like about Bill Whittle...he comes off as reasonably self-effacing, and uses to good effect in the right context.
If you haven’t watched any of his stuff, just enter his name on YouTube...his Virtual President and the rest of it is brilliant.
I get together with my brother one night a week, and the first thing we do is see if Bill Whittle has anything new out.
Trying to share humor with liberals is like trying to teach a pig to sing...
Didn’t he invent the jet engine?
I have always wondered if he was somehow remotely related to Frank Whittle...his mother WAS British.
LOL! I think it was Frank
Cute — but I’m surprised that he thinks that a sign that says “Prop 65 Notice” can be blamed on the legislature.
I think he addresses that at the end when he admonishes the liberals planning to travel Route 10 in order to follow the jobs to Texas.
California voters can create laws through the ballot proposition process. Prop 65 was a harebrained (and deceptively named) initiative that voters made the mistake of passing.
If this guy really is a Californian — then he should know that you can’t blame the legislature for that.
I simply thought the overall message was much more meaningful and important.
And his show is called Afterburner.
I once asked Bill (in an e-mail) about Frank Whittle when I came across an aviation related article about him. Surprisingly, Bill replied and said that there was no familial relation that he was aware of.
Ping 4 later
That said, I would like to see him give a speech to a small group of conventionally liberal college kids, and listen to the questions they ask him afterwards. Would he reach them? Would they understand? Would he change their minds?
I just wonder if he isn't doing too much preaching to the choir.
!
I am not sure what his job title was but he was with the RAF and developed their first jet engine.
I suppose a German may have actually been ahead of him but who knows. I think Heinkle was the first in Germany with jets but Messerschmidt created the most advanced.
The worst thing about the British jet is after WWII they had the best and most advanced jet in the world and just gave it to the Russians. I have heard all kinds of nonsense stories about the Russians winning it in a pool game.
There is no doubt in my mind that Russian spies in England stole it apparently right in the open. Britain was full of Soviet agents since the days of the Cambridge cell from 1931. Also before the 1931 cell there had been the Fabian society earlier who favored a gradual takeover by communists.
