Notable quote:
"But rather than campaigning on the mainstream Republicanism embodied by the family name, Bush says he's "a movement conservative" more in line with the tea party."

every democrat to be crushed like a bug in the primary. Humiliated, to send a message. No more democrats in power at ANY level, ever again.
democrats love government and democrats trust government
the news media are democrats, so is Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Shumer, Durbin , Fienstein etc.
It would be perfect for our long suffering nation if Pee married one of the new generation Kennedys. Or Chelsea Hubbell (after her upcoming divorce.)
I, for one am willing to give the young man a listen. Let’s see what he has to say about matters of the day for the next year or two. What has he to say about Ted Cruz? I am, of course on guard for anything RINO (like his oh, so appropriate Dad, who likes giving awards to Hillary!). We need someone with skill and panache, oh, and their own seed money. Don’t forget Teddy Roosevelt is seen by some people as having been the bigger Socialist compared to his 4 term Nephew, Franklin D.. The name doesn’t always tell the game.
A Bush brought us “Read my lips! No new taxes!
A Bush brought us “Compassionate Conservatism.”
It turned out to be gullible appeasement and belief that any American only had the best at heart for this country.
A Bush brought us Colin Powell whose chickenshit cowardice stopped the removal of Saddam Hussein a decade earlier than a later war that cost us over 3000 dead, IEDs, liberal traitorism, and a host of other unneeded liberal hysteria.
A Bush brought us Karl Rove. We all now know what that means.
A Bush, who never stood up for and answered the left on their ridiculous assertions brought us Barack Hussein Obama.
You’re goddam right. I’ll also NEVER vote for another Bush again.
Refusing to consider voting for someone named Bush is exactly as idiotic, and for the same reason, as automatically voting for someone named Kennedy.
That said, I think it’s really weird that in a country of 300M people people named Clinton and Bush are automatically touted as major contenders for the presidency.
Sorry about the “people people.” Not the best wording.
I look forward to voting against him in the primary. And if he wins the primary, he’ll not get my vote in the general. I just have no trust in any Bush regarding amnesty and border issues. And “P” has already made statements reflecting weakness on this.
Two issues I won’t tolerate a candidate being even slightly wobbly on... amnesty (like Bush) and homo-marriage.
"Read my lips. I'm no RINO."
A Bush could run as a perfect Tea Party candidate, a moderate GOPer or a constitutionalist conservative and still have less than zero chance of winning. This whole wel connected franchise thing just isn’t gonna work for non leftists, period.
He’s a “movement” all right .
This ^^^
OK I gave up on a response on my post 19, and looked it up. Apparently yes that was a description of George P.
What I cannot tell is as a half-Latino, whether he is about selling out on immigration or not.
So far he seems legitimate, but that would be a deal breaker for me.
Pretty good background though.
Can’t put lipstick on this La Raza pig.
In 2004, George P. went to Mexico and gave Spanglish speeches bashing Border Patrol and promoting open borders. Plenty of comments about it on FR at the time. Quit pretending this schmuck is conservative.
I haven’t followed his career close enough to give you any prespective.
and Reagan gave us Bush I, and Carter gave us Reagan, and Ford gave us Carter, and Nixon gave us Ford...
Just playing Bob Wills to Texas ears
Bushes are not real
Not progressives but not what we need
