Another controversy hit South Africas long goodbye to anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela on Saturday when his fellow anti-apartheid foe Desmond Tutu said he had not been accredited as a clergyman at the funeral by the government so would not attend.
Mac Maharaj, a spokesman for the South African president Jacob Zuma, insisted that Tutu is on the guest list and that he hopes a solution will be found so Tutu attends.
The 82-year-old retired Anglican archbishop of Cape Town indicated he felt he had been snubbed by the current government, with which he has clashed several times in the past.

Does he know sign language???
There still may be a spot for him.
Yet another Mandela funeral stink scene.
First they burglarize his shanty during the Mandela Memorial Extravaganza, then this.
I don’t know if it’s me, the times we we live in, the speed and proliferation of the internet or what ... but it sure seems the world has become MORE topsy turvy since the kenyan invaded our White House.
They ay he is not accredited as a clergyman. They are smarter than the rest of the world who do recognize this fraud.
You got that right. It’s as if the Earth is tilting more...
I mark it from the election of Bill Clinton. America knew in 1992 what a scoundrel he was — but he was elected anyway. That event, in my mind, marks the beginning of the end.
He’s retired, so I wouldn’t call that being a fraud. He’s not being invited because he’s highly critical of the ANC and various political powers of SA. Frankly, I’m surprised he hasn’t been knocked off for calling people out for being hypocrits, racists, and criminals.
LOL
Is that a yes or a no???
Desmond “To Hell With the West” Tutu, not accredited as clergy by the South African Black Majority Rule? So sad.

Not exactly!
You’re forgetting GHWB’s arch enemy Ross Perot who spent millions of his own money to take votes away from him.
