Why destroy the beer?
Eggnog is pretty good, so long as you add enough Rum to get rid of that awful eggy taste!
You nailed it.

Much better eggnog with good brandy/cognac.
Neither one deserves the other
Good beer should not be adulterated.
I live on the Bourbon Trail. It's what belongs in eggnog.
I’m not much of a beer drinker. Never tried the “High Gravity” brews with the exception of some vile product called Arrogant Bastard. I’ve grown fond of a fine Tennessee whisky and just can’t stand the thought of it any way but neat. Maybe one ice cube in my Single Barrel Select.

Sorry about the repeats, didn’t know it was loading.

Is that near Whiskey River?
You know you’ve got enough rum when you can see through it.
Only in the last couple of hours. Bought some Walker's Egg Nog this afternoon. Not bad.
Beer is best drank as beer. Eggnog is fantastic with scotch or rum or a mixture thereof.
I disagree. Any brandy worth drinking is worth drinking straight. If I don’t want to drink it straight, I don’t want to drink it period. Blended scotches seem much less of a waste when mixed with eggnog.
Eggnog with beer??? No. And not rum, either. Brandy (or Kentucky bourbon, in a pinch).
In Mother Russia, during those global warming Syberian winters, the street corner kiosks which sell keychains, hair spray, two ruble perfumes, cigs and matches, souvenirs, tchochkis, fresh copies of Pravda and Isviestia, as well beverages such as beer, they’ll serve you hot beer with a raw egg and (optional) shot of raspberry juice in it. (Or they did at one time.)
