Send Al Gore there to preach on global warming! Maybe the hot air coming from his mouth will warm things up a bit. Or shut him up.

Isn’t Prince Harry, the son of environmental wacko Prince Charles, up there right now for some sort of husky race?

Just because one spot on Earth has set records for cold that has little to do with global warming because it is one spot in one place, said Waleed Abdalati, an ice scientist at the University of Colorado and NASA's former chief scientist.

whatever

My in-laws are in Antarctica right now. They felt a need to visit all of the continents and this was their last one. They've enjoyed African safaris, the Great Wall of China, an extended stay in Australia, Easter island, hiking in the Andes, and just about every European country. Also Myanmar (Burma) which they thought was especially great since the dictatorship has kept the country at the level of a third world country from the 1940s or 50s. "It was great to see how things used to be!!!".

They also feel a need to spend all their money and leave nothing to their children (they're Libs and they don't want to give their children or grandchildren an unfair advantage). I figure that's their business -- they earned the money. Well, most of it, they also inherited a fair chunk of it.

All time record cold?????? Isn’t it about 12 days before that half of the world’s summer solstice? This doesn’t make sense.

Both Abdalati, who wasn't part of the measurement team, and Scambos said this is likely an unusual random reading in a place that hasn't been measured much before and could have been colder or hotter in the past and we wouldn't know.

LOL!

These folks make all the excuses in the world when the subject is record cold.

That’s 25°F cooler than the temperature of dry ice at STP.

It’s right around the coldest temperatures measured on the surface of Mars by the Curiosity rover. Typical daytime temperatures on Mars rise to about 0°C, and sometimes to +10°C.

Try 135.8 degrees Fahrenheit below zero; ... That's so cold scientists say it hurts to breathe.

Hah, it hurts to breathe when it hits 20 above Fahrenheit.

But he said scientists do routinely make naked 100 degree below zero dashes outside in the South Pole,

But that's only after they've been driven mad by not seeing the sun for six months.

Try 135.8 degrees Fahrenheit below zero; that's 93.2 degrees below zero Celsius

I have to call BS. Carbon dioxide freezes at -78.5 Celsius. Are there quantities of dry ice lying about down there?

Yeah, well Waleed ya moonbat whacko, want to explain why the ice pack has increased by over 60% at that other "spot"....the Arctic Circle?

Still a parasite I see. How'd that mooselimb outreach deal work out for you?

Doesn’t the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere start forming dry ice at around that temperature?

As for algore, stick him in a deep freeze and turn it down to -460 F (-273 C) and leave his @$$ there for a couple years.

As for global warming, tell it to the folks in the upper midwest. And after algore thaws after his two years at COLD, let him go and warm ‘em up.

algore is a typical LEFTIST POS, in it for the money, and for the CONTROL!
