The one big takeway these last few years is that Texas doesn't own in-state recruiting anymore....heck, they may now be the 4th choice, after Aggies, Baylor, and TT..( and Kingsbury's gonna do well..Heck..Rice had a great year..and SMU's coming back from near death.

Back in the day, Big 8 got the Orange...The Big 12 gets Fiesta now. American gets an automatic but to no particular bowl - it could be Fiesta, Orange, or Sugar.
Dang, it looked like Fresno State and Northern Illinois had great shots at the big dance but now neither will go.

Fiesta Baylor vs. ?
UCF, Ohio State, and Oklahoma St will likely fill in the gaps. Cowboys won’t face Baylor again. I’d guess Clemson-UCF, Alabama-Okla St, and Baylor-Ohio St.

The Nole hating and Buckeye hating is because those two conferences are truly terrible. The Buckeye’s proved it last night by going 24-0 and then showed themselves to be mediocre at best. Florida State then clobbered Duke, by far and away the second best team in the ACC but would be about 7th best in the Pac12 or SEC.
We haters hate undefeated teams who think they are national championship caliber by beating up a bunch of nobodys.
