I live in Virginia.

I can’t handle the Flat landscape and lack of trees, personally.

There is something about what may be over the next hill or around the corner that is in my blood.

22 here in Dallas. We got ice everywhere. Just like the Superbowl a few years ago. My favorite winter temp is 19 with a fireplace inside and no place to go.

I'm in Minneapolis and it got up to 6 today. Suppose to get cold tonight. I used to work the order desk at Supervalu. No matter how bad the weather was in MN, it was always worse in ND.

But you must agree cold is cold. Not much difference between -3 and -16. Except for the amount of nose hairs that freeze when you breathe, or how square the tires on the car gets.

Gotta love that squeak the sound of snow makes when it's subzero. I'll take this any day- rather than 85 and humid.

My mother’s family were very early settlers in that part of Texas (1828) and she was born up that way (1910). I have visited relatives there but never lived there. It is quite beautiful.

I love Las Vegas heat, 105 degrees in Vegas feels invigorating to me somewhat.
100 degrees here in Massachusetts and I feel like killing myself.

That’s because it really is a dry heat. Uh, mostly anyway.

I have lived in cold, hot and in between and I chose hot once I was old enough to make that choice.

Love Vegas, but miss the old days with fewer people and less humidity than there is now. Everyone has a pool and all that water has increased our humidity.

Cold(for here) these last few days, which always surprises newcomers.

Thankfully, it only lasts a couple of months.

2 over right now. Supposed to be minus 1 or 2 tomorrow night. No wind and flat gorgeous all day. I love this time of year up here!

I used to work with a lady who grew up in wisconsin, and she was telling me about how it was 40 below with the wind blowing 50 miles an hour.. I don’t want to know what the wind chill was lol.

44 in Biloxi with high of close to 60 expected. Saw -18 once in Rochester NY (many moons ag) and it made the car suspension creak so it sounded like it was breaking when I got in. Also had a number of smaller trees freezing solid and bark popping off sounded like gunshots. I prefer 4 seasons to what I live in, but negative anything makes me a bit happier down here. Stay bundled and don’t expose any skin. Don’t lick metal poles. Time for a big pot of chili, a fire and good music or movies.
