Moving on to the 1990s, there is the very unsettling saga of Ray Boeche, an Anglican priest and a former state-director for MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network. In 1991, Boeche met (at Lincoln, Nebraska) with two US Department of Defense physicists working on a project to try and contact what were termed “Non-Human Entities,” or NHEs. While the initial assumption on the part of the DoD team-members was that the NHEs were extraterrestrial, that view soon changed. And radically so, too.
Eventually, the project personnel concluded that far from being the aliens they purported to be, the NHEs were demonic – as in literally demonic. In other words, the DoD team concluded that the UFO phenomenon itself was born out of satanic deception, rather than alien visitation.
When the DoD scientists immersed themselves in the world of the NHEs, bad things began to occur. As Boeche told me, regardless of how benevolent or beneficial any of the contact they had with these entities seemed to be, it always ended up being tainted, for lack of a better term, with something that ultimately turned out to be bad. There was ultimately nothing positive from the interaction with the NHEs. Indeed, certain experimentation reportedly ended in death for some of those involved in the program.

I’d really like to see their methods and research. But of course, instead of pressing upload the author says “buy my book”.
Note: I have always considered this a possibility. But at this point the author posts nothing but conjecture, and near the end of the article “all detailed in my book”. If I conducted this research and came to the same conclusion, I would have a problem with NOT sharing it for free.
It’s also double hearsay.

Well in any case, it has peaked my interest. I have heard tons of these types of stories and I have always been deeply interested in the idea that UFO’s could be angels and fallen angels. I’ll try to find it somewhere and read it.

My mom bought me one for Christmas when I was 12 or so.
Have no idea WTH she was thinking.
The view that UFOs represented demonic manifestations was held by the noted and very influential American Orthodox monk Fr. Seraphim Rose. (His writings were smuggled into the Soviet Union and widely read and highly-regarded by the faithful there.)
I cannot recall the title offhand but I have a really good paperback that links angels, aliens, MIB, “fairies” and demons.
It’s not exactly written from a Christian viewpoint but the logic was so sound that I’ve never felt the desire to mess with such things.
Ironically, I’m watching “Ghost Adventures” right now.

the DOD financed much of the project that went on for 25 years.
if you can wade thru the test basis for how the experiments were constructed there are some startling results /outcomes
far from showing demons at work, much of the research shows quite the opposite.

Do you perhaps have any clue of part of the title? Or perhaps maybe the author, or year? What cover looked like? Anything that I could use to track it down would be helpful.
They still make those? Then they should rename them Obama Boards (now that we’ve got a name).

Jacques Vallee’s “Passport to Magonia” covered some of that territory. His conclusion was that all of these things—angels, elves, aliens, etc.—share some common traits and seem to come from some collective subconscious place.
