According to a poll released by the Pew organization, The public thinks that the nation does too much to solve world problems, and increasing percentages want the U.S. to "mind its own business internationally" and pay more attention to problems here at home.

You can count me in with those who believe we should mind our own business in world affairs. We have wasted far too much tax payer money on “protecting” the rest of the world.
The problem is the malcontents elected and appointed to administer such matters view their offices as a means feathering their own nests and promoting their personal interests and agendas rather than what is truly in the national interest.
The sophistry that got Bob Casey elected to the US Senate has now consumed the body politic.
“The only reason your Government cannot provide you with bigger, better benefits is that the EEEEEEEVIL George W. Bush spent all the money on his ILLEGAL WARS!”
