Obama: Republicans Must Be Embarrassed For Having Done So Little
TPMlivewire ^

Republican lawmakers have to be embarrassed with how little they've accomplished in Congress, President Barack Obama said in an interview with MSNBC Hardball's Chris Matthews.

In the interview which aired Thursday night, Obama said the only thing that's stopping Congress from passing a major immigration reform bill are House Republicans. He went on to say that Republicans are probably ashamed that they've accomplished so little over the past few years in Congress.

I’m embarrassed that the republicans allowed a no talent, anti-American putz like Obama to BECOME president.

The Republicans that we managed to get elected are doing exactly what we sent them to DC to do, zero, stop you whenever possible.

“We must act immediately regarding the 10 million people that have to live in the shadows of society!”

“So what if 5% of Americans are losing their health care, that number is to small to be significant.”

10M/330M=3%
330M*5%=16.5M

So, the significantly smaller number of people living in the shadows is somehow a bigger number that calls for immediate action!

My point is the best way to get people who are uninformed to flock back to support the guy would be to impeach him. The people here at this site understand what it is he’s been up to, but those arguments are politically technical and the average citizen isn’t going to get it. What they do get are the big things, like what is currently happening to their health insurance.

Also, as we learned with Bill Clinton, there is no point in impeaching a President unless there is the will in the Senate to convict. Do you really think a conviction is possible here? I do not.

Believe me, I get it when it comes to Obama trashing the constitution and not doing his sworn duty as President. But removing him through impeachment would have consequences that cannot be predicted. Even if he were to resign, which I would prefer, you cannot measure how the masses would react to that. I would expect riots in most of the major cities, etc.

There is the word we live in and the world we wish we lived in. Unfortunately, we are stuck and there is nothing that can be done immediately to put an end to Obama’s regime. And the clean-up is going to take years, if not decades.

The GOP (well some of them) did their best to stop Obamacare from rolling out on Oct 1st. If they wouldn’t have stopped by President Obama, that would have been a major acomplishment.

No matter, when the deficits up to 20 trillion dollars when Obama leaves office, it’s most likely us fiscal conservatives will be left to pay the tab, endure all of the responsibility, and basically make all the hard decisions Obama didn’t have the guts to make.

Obama can write a book about his vacations with his Famoly and dogs, and how it is to spend millions of taxpayer monies on Himself while he screws the older citizens over in Medical misuse. I have never seen a more dense and stupid
bunch than the current Democrats.
Shame on Him. He will continue to destroy this wonderful Country.

This is the sort of stupidity that flows from a man who's never had to live in the real world, and has no idea how his utopian policies impact real people.

He doesn't operate on information and data gained from his own or others' experience. He computes solely on preconceived notions and leftist dogma. Naturally, all of his conclusions and decisions are dead wrong, and disastrous.

You'd think that after five years of being the most powerful person on the planet, and having his will expressed through the nation's legislature and innumerable federal agencies, that he'd have noticed that his vision in real life hasn't worked.

But no --- he is so thoroughly steeped and cemented into his opinions about what's possible in the real world, that he denies the evidence before his very eyes. If his visions have failed, it must be someone else's fault. His way simply has to work, because he believes it so strongly.

Nuts!

Ideally, the government woud spend the next ten or twenty years repealing laws. I don’t want these saps doing anything else. Free us from the tyranny of laws

Amen. It's time our elected reps in Congress began finding ways to unshackle us from the domination of big government.
