I voted again but I don’t think it counted it. I sent the link to some non-freepers and asked them to vote for Hairy. I may send link to a couple more. :)
Go Hairy Go!
Thank you both for your votes and for sending this out to others. Hairy has 899 votes and Wilson has 786.
Voting isn’t over until Dec 31 so we need to remain vigil.
Go Hairy Go!
Thank you Eaker and TheMom! :)
Thank you Joy!
Doing what we can for Hairy. He is an awesome dog.
Thank you, we have already counted your vote.
Hairy - February 43.63% (904 votes)
Wilson - July 37.93% (786 votes)
Summer - September 11.05% (229 votes)
Faithful Paws Pet Therapy group that we belong to has sent out an email about an elderly man who has been put into an assisted living home and is in severe depression. Never married, no children only one niece, only had his many pets. Members of our group have started visiting him and I am thinking about Hairy and I going there today.
Wilson is too close in votes. We’ve got to keep at it to keep Wilson at bay. Hairy is infinitely more adorable. Could use him no my lap right now as it’s colder than a witch’s boob up here in Chicagoland.
There were times in that 100 to 600 vote period when Wilson would jump 75 to 100 votes in 15 minutes. I suspect some fraud going on.
One of the freepers sent in a comment about fraud and they answered him saying there was really nothing they could do about it and his comment was not posted. No comments have been posted BTW.
It won't surprise me to see Wilson's numbers start to go up when we get to Dec 30 & 31.
Send the info to everyone on your list and lets hope we can out vote them.
There's a freeper's doggie named Hairy
His eyes and his charm doth ensnare me
He's still in first place
But it's TOO tight a race
Vote NOW....make your season more merry!

ARF!
I have a rescued 2 year old Border Collie/Aussie mix named Conner. It was ‘love at first sight’ for me when I saw him on a website that saves BCs from high kill shelters. He's originally an Alabama boy!
The kennel was out in the country near Ocala Florida and it was fantastic, spotlessly clean and the woman took a few dogs at a time to live in her house. She took great care of her dogs, all socialized.
While we were looking at all the puppies we saw Hairy’s litter. He was 3 weeks old and his litter looked like little stuffed animals. I couldn't help myself, I picked out Hairy on the spot and paid for 2 puppies instead of one.
When he was old enough they put him on American Airlines (I think) and when he was brought out of baggage to me, he was smiling and wagging his tail. The smile and the tail wagging haven't stopped in 10 years.
I met his parents in Florida, they were both short haired Jacks so naturally no one believed he was a JRTs. I had his DNA checked twice several years ago, both times it came out the same, JRT and a mix of terriers. so I call him a terrier mix.
I wish I had bought the whole litter, I would have my own new breed of dogs now. Maybe it is good that I didn't because I don't think I could ever sell a dog or even give one away. I think it worked out for the best.
The breeder emailed me a few years ago that Hairy’s mom had produced another litter of Hairy pups, so that is where the long hair comes from.
Go to the website, last time I looked they had a stud dog that looked very much like Hairy. Jack Russel Terriers came in all shapes and sizes, long legged, short legged, long haired and short haired. They came up with a standard so the could compete in the AKC dog shows and they called it the Parson Russel Terrier. Before that there were just JRT shows. I went to one of those and it was a hoot, watching all the cute guys run races and going into hay bales after rats. JRT’s just being who they are.
Go to the website I gave you and check them all out!
If you are close by go over and tell Snooks that Ima Jean said HI!
She named one of her bitches after me, isn't that a compliment! :)
You are the greatest, Ditter. So is Hairy. Hubby and I have had the privilege of visiting with Ditter and Mr. Ditter and hope many more. They are wonderful people with wonderful furbabies.
thank you for the kind words. Hairy is still ahead 932 to 786. Go Hairy Go!
You bet. They are from the heart. You are so much fun, Ditter. And did you ever doubt Hairy? No. LOL
I follow Hairy everyday. Yes.
I had no idea that Jack Russells had such variety. They are all adorable!
Thanks for all the information. I perfer hearding breeds. And I like them mixed. My first dog was a Scottish Collie/Australian Shepherd named Austin. He was an angel in a dog’s coat.
I was devastated when he died and said I don’t want to go through that pain again. But after three months I was so lonely without a dog, I started looking at rescue sites.
I found a sweet smart Border Collie/ Aussie named Conner.
I know the pain and heart break of losing a pet but getting another one helps to heal your heart. I am so glad you got another furry friend.
