Obama may be a rare ex-president who stays in Washington

......Obama has raised the possibility that he might remain a resident of the capital after his lease on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. expires in January 2017.

In an interview this week with Barbara Walters of ABC News, Obama and the first lady, Michelle, said they may live in Washington beyond their time in the White House to allow their younger daughter, Sasha, to graduate from Sidwell Friends School.

I heard some of this yesterday and that moochelle stated that she and the "lyin' king" have sacrificed a lot so that he could become the ROTUS. Frickin' puhleeze. It might be hard for pricess sasha to change schools. Really? Since I was a mil-brat, I went to 12 different schools before i gradiated (good schooling huh?) from Florida to Hawaii to England and many places in between. I didn't turn out to be a nut case. (Well, at least in my eyes. LOL!) Arrogant POS' don't know the meaning of sacrifice. I'm sure there are plenty of others that have made the same sort of moves that I did as a kid and we appear to be okay. This pos and his pos firs' lady have burdened this country with sacrifice that will last a whole lot longer than just the end of his term. His next term should be carried out in Leavenworth.

If he does this, it is because he WILL break the understanding that ex-presidents have to give the new president a bit of room to operate.

One of the cornerstones of the early success political of our system was the British tradition of good sportsmanship above all when your party loses, with the understanding that you will be allowed to prepare to fight another day. I agree. Like you I attended 12 different schools before graduating - and I wouldn’t give that experience up for anything. I also went to schools in FL and England; also, SC, MA, AL before graduating from HS in CA. I have a “Proud Air Force Brat” bumper sticker on the back of my 4Runner and am constantly getting a thumbs up from other drivers. This magic duo made NO sacrifices to get to where they are - and it’s makes me sick on my stomach every day to think that our military is out there defending these two POS!
