I ordered from Bountiful Gardens, “Food for the Future, Now:”. I think that is the one you got some time ago. I kept trying to find that book on that website and I was failing to punch on the right spot to get to that book. This one is the beginner one to use smaller spaces to feed yourself for a year. There may be something in that book that leads me to plant something I haven't thought about. This one is number 34 which may not be the one you have but it sounds like it from the way you have talked about this book in the past.
You are a terrific prepper even if you don't call yourself one. You call it a way of life but you're still a prepper - “a rose by any other name is still a rose”.
I think you are correct. That is the most recent one. I have ordered 2-3 books are year from them, and have a couple that discuss how to get more veggies/produce from your space, as well as several sample garden plans to grow for good all round nutrition.
I started doing all this stuff long before I ever heard the word “prepper”. I grew up with family doing all this stuff. It's a way of life to me - people without a lot of money doing what they need to do to protect their family and survive whatever hard times might come their way.
If they want to call me a prepper for that, it's ok. I am just a country gal trying to survive in a subdivision in rural America. If I ever get a fall out shelter built in a corner of the basement, then I'll be a real true prepper.LOL
