Same reason Bill Clinton cannot be vice president - he must be eligible to be president, which he is not for the same reason. They must repeal the 22nd amendment to “elect” him to a third term. I fully expect them to try it.

I have been wondering for the past week or so if perhaps John Roberts is brilliant - giving Obamacare the push it needed to avoid further obstacles and fail so miserably that socialized medicine would not be considered again for a long, long time.
