Churchill knew exactly what Uncle Joe was and did not trust him.
At the final meeting of the Big Three FDR was dismissive of Churchill and fawned over Stalin.
Churchill was fuming.

"Butch" O'Hare was shot down today. After WWII, Chicago will rename Orchard Field for O'Hare and designate it to succeed Midway as the main airport for the city. If you've ever wondered why the baggage tags for O'Hare say ORD, its because they did not change the designation after renaming the airport.
BTW, O'Hare's father testified against Al Capone. He was later murdered, probably by Capone's boys.
