An artist who carried out the 2007 marketing stunt that prompted a massive citywide bomb scare lambasted then by Mayor Thomas M. Menino is now headlining the citys First Night celebration.
Peter Zebbler Berdovsky has been contracted by First Night Boston to stage a $50,000 electronic show that will be the centerpiece of the 2014 New Years celebration in Copley Square.
But Meninos office scoffed at the idea that Berdovsky might be a poor choice for a city-sponsored event so close to the scene and time of the deadly April 15 marathon bombing attacks.

Obviously anybody can just go ahead and call one’s self an “artist”.
Kind of like calling ones self “Liberal” automatically makes you Whip-Smart Brilliant.
The guy basically put a few Hasbro Lite-Brites® on public display in Boston without letting anyone know he was doing it, and the whole city of Boston flipped their wigs and declared themselves under attack by Al-Qaeda terrorists.

If I was a complete loser in life I’d probably declare myself a liberal artist as well.
