That's it. There's nothing left to eat that is healthy for you.

He didn't mention bacon and chocolate specifically. Phew!

I won't make an opinion until Mooshelle tells me what to do.

Bacon, chocolate, and Guinness to wash them down!

He is onto something. Alzheimers sure could be diabetes 3.

I think his carb % is too low, but under 100g carbs a day would be,good to shoot for. And definitely up your healthy fats.

ah, yet another “mastermind” who knows what’s best for you, and “cha-ching” what’s best for them.

He’s right.

And the grains we eat today are even worse. They are GMO—modified to be “Roundup Ready.” I.e., they aren’t killed by Roundup.

The unnatural proteins in GMO grains are killing us. And the glyphosate from the Roundup is killing us. Together, they are shutting down one process in the body after another.

The Food Pyramid, and other government propaganda, are based on the needs of agribusinesses and their lobbyists, not science.

I am doing my best to live on tuna, grass-fed beef, free-range eggs, and grass-fed milk and grass-fed whey protein.

He says the risk of Alzheimer's disease can be reduced by adopting a dramatically lower carbohydrate diet (below 60-80 grams daily), adding more fats - such as extra-virgin olive oil, coconut oil, grass-fed beef, and wild caught fish - to the diet...

I do the paleo thing myself, so I generally agree with the spirit of the article, but how the heck do "wild caught" fish magically have more beneficial fats than, presumably, farmed fish?

To me, it all boils down to one thing. A frugal diet is the key to longevity. There’s just no reason to eat the amount of food that we’re accustomed to when you could live on a fraction of it.

the best diet is one where you are hungry before you eat.

Sure there is. Strawberry ice cream on your cereal for breakfast provides fruit and protein. Pumpkin pie for lunch provides your vegetable and Pecan pie for dinner because nuts are good for you.

Most unfortunate! My apple bacon cobbler I made last night had sugar & flour in the topping. :-(

On the bright side, it did have 1/4 of the melted butter replaced by bacon grease. :-)

Have you ever seen a neurologist eat a whole-grain sammich, Mandrake?
That’s right, you won’t. Flatbread or pita bread, that’s all they eat.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with my brain.
Women sense my brain power and I, no I don’t abstain from them, but I deny them— I do deny them my essence. I do deny them my precious bodily fluids.

Grains need to be properly fermented to be safe.

Damn! I spent years trying to find a healthy bread that tasted better than the usual roofing shingles. Finally discovered a delicious kind that we eat just because it tastes so good (no secret, others have mentioned it here on FR before: Dave’s killer 21 grain bread). It must be 21 times as deadly as regular uni- grain bread, then?????? Frankly I’m just not ready to believe that. God had us eating grains long before he allowed us to kill animals for food. And you can google the “seventh day Adventist vegetarian diet” to see that they live longer eating grains and other plant like stuff.

What you can eat depends on your blood type.....read Peter D’Adamo “Diet by Your Type”.

I also follow Wallach, “Dead Doctors Don't Lie”. This new one is correct (to my way of thinking) except for the olive oil. Needs to be changed to a fat that is a solid at room temp.
