Not me......

With all the in fighting between the Catholics, the Protestants, the Methodists and others, ad nauseum and all of them gang jumping on the Mormons, each claiming their religion is the true one, I'm of the mind that if all of them are wrong in the minds of the others, then they're all wrong and this so called "Christianity" thing is merely a cult of global opposing "christian" gangs..........

I'll remove the sarcasm tag now...../s...

But my sentiments remain the same, who's right? The Catholics, the Protestants, the Methodists, the Baptists, the Hindus, the Mormons, the Evangelicals, the..........etc, etc, etc.....?

And for as long as I've been a member here, I've encountered a hell of a lot of so called "christians" who have proven to be nothing but hypocrites based on their comments.........

It is the primary problem when all you have is third-hand testimony or worse.

Religion is man’s effort to reach God and none of them save.

Salvation is only through a person, that being Jesus Christ.

Since the wages of sin is death, once we commit one sin, we are condemned to death. The only way out is forgiveness. We must throw ourselves on the mercy of the court, so to speak, and ask God to forgive us and give us new life in Jesus.

And He will. He wants to.

No one church has a corner on the truth market as no one church, or no person or group of people, can every fully comprehend with their finite minds the infinite God. That’s where faith and trust come in.

You’re right, you do see conflict among the various faiths and denominations and rightfully so. You would understand this if you were a Christian far better then observing on the sidelines.

Let me say the conflicts are not about which one is right....the conflicts are about ‘TRUTH’... and the infiltration of false doctrines and teachers that have come into the body of believers to distort, deceive and draw then away from the centrality that is in Jesus Christ.

This has been so since the beginning of Christianity and will continue til He comes for us. Jesus said there would be wolfs among the sheep, even to His Disciples who also had to contend for the Truth. And over the years there have also been many “counterfeits” of Christianity who try to look like it, and claim it, but are far from the Truth and doctrines of Christianity. This will only increase more and more.

As for what to do if you don’t know where or which to turn to....??? I would recommend you read your Bible and ask God to show you what He wants you to know about Him and His Son....and keep reading until He does. Too many put it aside too early.

Doesn’t sound to me like finding a “right” church is the place to start for you....rather you might better take note of the Words He wrote to you for the direction you need. But if you’re simply looking for a church to be a part of....even in that you will need His guidance.
