In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of Word for the Day.
Chthonic
Adjective, also chthonian
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)

It was hilarious, because, 5 minutes before I sent it I said, to mrs.hobbes who was making breakfast for the tykes. So when it happened I knew immediately, what she read, and I was lmao, than I got a ‘thank you for making me lose it on the air” note...
(smirk)
a thank you? LMAO
Hello, FCC?
You’re gonna get them in trouble. ;-)
How much of this are supposed to put up with!
She didn’t read it aloud.
She was removing her glasses after reading it off the phone, and doubled over...lol.
Well of course she’s not flat she had implants as well as a nose job which has left her sounding nasally. She’s engaged to be married for the 4th time or so. Guilfoyle needs to catch up!
Meow!!!
I’m sure she’s nice and wish her well.
that’s hot
Y’all see this?
Can ypu post a pic, from my twitter feed, if I put one up?
I’ve seen her pretty close up IRL, she’s always been busty, but she’s droopy now. You are right about the bad nose job,
Ha!
I think she’s smarter than people give her credit for and she’s also pretty and has a great sense of humor. People have surgery on their noses for all kinds of reasons.
work blocks twitter; i have to go the whole day without knowing a lot of what Ozzie Guillen, Danica Patrick, my first girlfriend, and you are thinking. It’s like slavery when you think about it...
A new poll (by Harper Polling) suggests Not Sure is leading the crowded field for the Democrats' nomination for Pennsylvania governor. That should be considered good news for troubled Republican incumbent Tom Corbett. Of course, given Mr. Corbett's positions on so many of the issues most dear to his traditional base, Not Sure could give him a good run for his money next year.
