Most blacks shoot the messenger
World Net Daily ^ | 11/12/2013 | Mychal Massie

Is it possible that people are so addicted to skin color that they refuse to acknowledge the most obvious indications that such an addiction is wrong? The answer, of course, is yes, many are.

A person of color recently ridiculed me because he felt I had lumped him and his family in the category of “having something given to them based on color.” (I apologize for not being able to find his name and his comment, which are somewhere on my Facebook page.) He was genuinely offended that mine was a broad statement and, as such, included him in that category. The thing he didn’t do, however, was condemn the category. He just took exception with my placing him in it.

Blacks take exception to anybody pointing out problems in their community, if the person pointing them out is not black. To them, it’s like a stranger involving themselves in a family argument.

Not true.

If the person pointing out the problem is black, they STILL take exception.

They just claim that he's "not really black" or an "Uncle Tom" or "house servant".

Mychal Massie is black, btw.

Much of the black community suffers from the same moral corruption affecting society at large - they want it all. Special advantages, sympathy, respect & admiration, wealth, and of course all without earning it.

And as long as they get it things will only get worse.

And in a lot of cases certain black folks pointing these issues out is also not allowed. Would the “just-us” brothers be where they are today if not for blaming people who lived in the 60’s (the 1860’s!) for all that’s wrong with black communities today? Hell no. If they actually told the truth concerning the break down of black families and the huge decline in households with 2 parents, they too would be vilified. As it is we have folks like Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Mychal Massie, Star Parker, Charles Payne, Clarence Thomas, etc., telling the truth and they are classified as turncoats and Uncle Toms. Purty sad.

It, sadly, isn’t just the black community either. There are plenty of low/no info voters who find it easier to take our tax dollars without lifting a finger and whining when they are cut off. I can pretty much guarantee that when the EBT card system went wacko in La., the 2 Wal-marts hardest hit weren’t raided by just black folks. Salt and peppa.

There’s a show available for perusal on Netflix and elsewhere called “Booker’s Place.” It gives some terrific insight into race relations in the South as the Civil Rights movement was in full swing. Both black and white, past and present, speak for themselves on the issue. I came away from viewing it with a better understanding as to why blacks view whites with no small amount of suspicion and animosity. It is something we still need to work on.

The first time I was ever physically assaulted for no reason than waving “hello,” it was a black who was force bused into my school. It is hard to live a thing like that down; forgiveness is not a natural inclination by any means. People who fan the flames - like the media who twisted the Trayvon Martin incident - are reprehensible slime. The need the Gene Hackman treatment as demonstrated in the film, Mississippi Burning.

" the gentleman was upset because he viewed my comments as lumping him into the category of getting something he hadn’t worked for"

That's pretty much the way it works, as I have seen it. People are "given" something they didn't work for, and then don't competently do the work. Others have to clean up the mess and when it comes time for promotions, the incompetent get the rank. It's called affirmative action.

Hispanics and females get the benefit of affirmative action too. I'm diligently searching to find out what slave ship THEY came over on. I haven't found it yet.

It is something we still need to work on.

I and a whole slew of other whites don't need to work on s***. It's not my fault black society, as a whole, is littered with illiteracy, illegitimacy, crime, and a general slothfulness. I could care less if a bunch of (insert the name of the victim group dejour) view me with suspicion and animosity.

There are ways but its a slow process of incrementalism and knowing when to confront their falsehoods and knowing when to let them slide.

I’ve been very well received in Detroit where I’ve been conducting my own personal outreach. Last time I was there I was introduced as “He just like we is.” I’m white, rural and poor which makes me a natural Klansman in their eyes. I’m teaching that I’m not a Klansman. From there I can talk about how great it could be for all the black marketeers (There are a LOT in Detroit) to be above board if not for all the taxes and regulations. I can see their eyes light up when I suggest that they could have a big lighted sign out front, maybe ads running on local TV, paved parking in the empty lot next door. I close by reminding them that the taxes and regulations are crushing those dreams.

As much as I dislike Chris Christie, I agree with what he said about the need to show up. There was absolutely no one Reagan wasn’t willing to reach out to.

First things first: Take that stupid ‘facebook’ page, align all names in alphabetical order, then align all posts by date, then align all posts by ‘13yo girl selfie mirror pictures’, then delete the entire idiotic thing and burn it.

Second step: Go see a friend or a loved one (A REAL LIVE ONE) and talk face-o-face.
Tip-— you may have to go outside for this step. Don’t be surprised if you feel a warm sensation on your neck. That is just our friend the Sun.

(hey I’m just fooling with you... I deal with teenagers in my house that I have to pry away from stupid facebook and myface and tweeter. But they are teenagers, I expect them to be obbsessed with social media like every other 14 year old girl out there.)

They don't even like Bill Cosby or Ben Carson pointing out their stupidity and failures, as well.

Why didn’t you give him a few examples of the problems of drugs, killings, robberies, and overall uncivilized behavior of a rural all-white neighborhood?

Oh... wait...

I agree with you, because I am a member of a few black websites and I know the kind of conversations that go on without them being concerned about holding words because they are in presence of whites.

Numerous blacks have attempted to do so, and they are similarly excoriated. Bill Cosby is merely one example.
