Young love is tough. There's no hiding behind OKCupid profiles in elementary school; there's just a tear-saturated piece of notebook paper with the word "no" circled in pencil. But in this note, posted by Reddit user reasonable-doubt, there's actually a glimmer of hope

Hope springs eternal?

Hey if she keeps true to form he’ll have her for a month or two as well. So now he can roughly schedule it. Get enough girls like that and he’ll have a full calendar. For the girl it’s also rotating boyfriends. Hey they should all use Microsoft Project.

Hey, Kyle! Did you hear Ashely is breaking up with you next month? You might want to move her date up.

Boys hear "no" a million times.
Young men hear "no" depending on how much money they have.
Middle aged men always hear "no" unless they pay the price to the splayed female...who hands it over to her pimp.
Old men don't hear "no" because they stop asking.

Scarlet ALWAYS chose the loser. ASHLEY was such a wuss. GABLE/Rhett was THE MAN. Too little, too late, Scarlet darling.

I’ve heard they don’t teach cursive writing any longer. My rejections were always nicely written.

Oh Nick...I’m not talking about looks as much as I am actions of the book. Rhett worshipped Scarlett. Ashley worshipped Melanie.

In real life...both were patriots.

POF is hit and miss. Not a bad site, but too many treat it like an online shopping site instead of a tool just to reach out... Sorry to hear about your friend’s encounter.

With the concern about peanut allergies; I don’t think peanut butter is allowed in schools now.

And his discharge papers were signed by Ronald Reagan.
********************************
Huh? How could that have happened? Clark Gable died November 16, 1960.

I finished my 6 year military committment in 1965, and all I have is a DD214 to show it was an honorable discharge.

Maybe the other poster should have written: His discharge papers were signed by various low-level clerks, a couple of officers, etc. - among them, a major in the First Motion Picture Unit named Ronald Reagan (who, 35 years later, became President).

What grade was this? Bad spelling and grammar already. lol He spells Ashley as Ashely and she says "your my next" instead of "you're my next". Sorry, I'm a stickler for grammar and spelling. Can't help it.

Yes the plane crash had to do with Enigma and a would be assassination attempt on Churchill. Supposedly the British knew the plane would be targeted from breaking Enigma but they feared if the flight was canceled or diverted (Was a route often taken during that time) the Germans would suspect or realize their machine was compromised..

I believe the details of Enigma were kept top secret on the advice of British Intelligence for 30 years after WWII by some law, not sure though but a WWII buff might know around here what details were kept quiet.
