I'm guessing there are at least a few Downton Abbey fans out there, and you're probably eagerly waiting for Season 4 to start in January on PBS. Well, in the UK they are already well into Season 4, currently up to episode 7, and you can LEGALLY view the new season (as well as catch up on any of the old episodes) at www.couchtuner.eu . Here's the direct link to "Downtown Abbey" (as my son calls it): http://www.couchtuner.eu/watch-downton-abbey-online/
Enjoy!
Some time in January I'll sit down for a few days and review Seasons 1-3 and then go to Season 4.
Actually, that reminds me....it's been a couple of years since I've gone through Upstairs/Downstairs.I'm overdue. That should keep me busy for a week or two.
Unlike some I think that Downton,while outstanding,can't hold a candle to Upstairs/Downstairs.
Get thee behind me, you video devil!! LOL!! You tempt me greatly with your tease about not believing the various dramas to come out of how the death of Matthew sets up another love interest for his widow, along with the by-play of the aristocracy with the larger population. Then the downstairs stories among the help...you are the devil!!!
I use a site like his link to watch a ton of stuff. It also has tons of popups etc saying you need this and that. If you just close them out NEVER CLICK ON THEIR CRAP it is safe and you can watch whatever you want.
OK thanks
I am a HUGE fan! I even got my history-buff son hooked, much to the consternation of his father. As tempting as it is, I’m going to refrain from watching the link you provided and watch it in HD on my flat screen in January. It’s only two months away. For now, I’ll just be content with Father Brown, Poirot when they run them, and Homeland.
In the comments section on that website for the 4-1 episode, many are claiming the download is a scam and/or malware.
Download with caution.
M4L
I promise to be a fan as soon as it`s free on YouTube.
I stopped watching it when they subjected viewers to experience what it is like to be a gay butler in England in the day.

Yes you can download, but you don’t need to. If you look just above the download link, there is a link in yellow entitled “watch it here”. You can stream the video without downloading.
Yeah, but they wanted a credit card number in order to give me free membership to watch. Never mind...they are not getting my credit card number.
Odd. Running Linux here and can watch the vids just fine.
I guess you missed the part (parts, actually) where the pervert butler is shown time and time again to be a nasty, despicable piece of work.
I get complaints about that as well whenever I recommend other download sites. Running Linux, I do not need their Download Manager or Windows Media Player ver.xxx or even their Flash Player. I simply ignore the download links until I find the [>] (Play-button) link and let the streaming begin.
I caught it.
I didn’t stay for the “lesson” about battering women. And I understand later there was another opportunity for a “teachable moment”.
I don’t watch show like that to have social issues pushed on me.
Downtown Abbey has se;f destructed and I am not alone in thinking so.
“I didnt stay for the lesson about battering women.”
Good job, BunnySlippers - Ever hear of the words “Spoiler Alert”?!?
As for the “teachable moments” as you call them, this stuff did happen all over the place back in the day.
I’ll bet you must have been shocked by Mary Poppins as well.
Naw, Conservatives left Downtown Abbey a couple of seasons ago. You must have missed it here on FR.
If you like watching it, enjoy. I love Brit flicks have for decades. This one had too many Liberal social issues to “teach”.
I’m not interested in this show, but my sister is. Do any of you fans know if Downton Abbey is included with Netflix streaming?
