Margarine is on the way to becoming illegal, but businesses will be required to employ 300 pound men in dresses. Because America is now Sweden.
10 Republican Senators courageously joined the effort to prevent businesses from firing men who wear dresses.
How many Republicans voted for the bill?: 10. Sens. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), Orrin G. Hatch (R-Utah), Dean Heller (R-Nev.), Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), John McCain (R-Ariz.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Patrick J. Toomey (R-Pa.).
At this point, McCain isnt exactly a surprise. Ayotte unfortunately does whatever he tells her. Why did Orrin Hatch and

What I'm dumfounded by is how McShame gets by, so many times. His record is well known and goes way back.
Hatch has been on a roll this week, hasn’t he? His hits just keep coming.
Turdkowski, I can’t stand that woman.
The congress doesn’t get to call the convention. Only the states can do that. Ratification of proposed amendments...that is problematic. But we will see. I plan to propose amendments that will neuter the feral government. And restore federalism.
But Flake's betrayal really stings. I was foolish enough to think he was a conservative. I truly detest the man.
The whole scheme assumes conservatives will control the agenda and the socialists and RINOs will do nothing. Best case — conservatives get more of their agenda enacted via Constitution that is subsequently ignored by the socialists and RINOs that run the country. Worst case - socialists and RINOs find a way to get more of their agenda passed which conservatives will dutifully obey.
The root problem is that conservatives need more votes and more power. I don’t see conservatives ramming through their agenda. No magic bullet here and lots of downside possibilities.
Oh, Yuck! I just about threw up my cheese popcorn! Blech!
They were all tripping the light grabasstic with Ayatollah 0bama..
I think you overstate the risk. Ratification is the key. Left wing lunacy will not get ratified. And our stuff will face an up hill fight. Join us. There is nothing to loose if things continue as they are going now.
You should see McCain campaign out here. You would think he is the reincarnation of Barry Goldwater. The people pay scant attention between elections. So...all they know about McCain is what McCain tells them. Simple really.
I think you understate the risks as I already mentioned. You present false choices - status quo or join you? I choose neither of those options.
You are not going to ram through conservative changes to the Constitution in a country that elected Obama twice. More likely socialists will add their stuff to the Constitution. They have more power.
I think you people are misguided and would be better served re-directing your energy towards getting more conservative voters and power. That is the root problem not the constitution which most people ignore these days anyway
I agree with you about getting more conservative voters. We can do both. You don’t have to join me. Join the movement. I wish us luck with the electorate. Absent a miracle the status quo is exactly what we will have. A steady decent into marxist barbarism.
It’s time to declare the republican party “DEAD”....and create a Conservative Party and just move on from here.
