Margarine is on the way to becoming illegal, but businesses will be required to employ 300 pound men in dresses. Because America is now Sweden.

10 Republican Senators courageously joined the effort to prevent businesses from firing men who wear dresses.

How many Republicans voted for the bill?: 10. Sens. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), Orrin G. Hatch (R-Utah), Dean Heller (R-Nev.), Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), John McCain (R-Ariz.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Patrick J. Toomey (R-Pa.).

At this point, McCain isn’t exactly a surprise. Ayotte unfortunately does whatever he tells her. Why did Orrin Hatch and

I got the feeling a while back that McCain took her under his wing to show her "how it's done." Paint a target on that RINO!

Patrick J. Toomey (R-Pa.).

lol. Warning by me were ignored and I was criticized for telling the truth on this fraud who is so loved by many here. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why.

He may be sitting in the big chair, but I doubt he can do much to ram this thing through. Mid-terms are coming up in 12 months and no Repub house member would want this hanging around their necks.

You can add Rob Portman to that list. He has become quite the traitor and won’t be up for re-election until 2016. I won’t forget!

Over on HotAir.com, there is a good discussion thread on Mitch McConnell and highlights exactly why the base is upset with the Republican.

It's crap like this why conservatives are leaving the GOPe in droves.

The Levin notion to fix everything with a constitutional convention is misguided. Liberals don’t follow this constitution. Only conservatives do so. How will changing the constitution make a difference?

The same country that elected Obama twice is going to change the Constitution to agree with conservatives? 2/3 of the same Senate that just voted for this nonsense bill are also going to vote for a Constitutional convention to limit federal power? yeah, right. what they might do, however, is vote for a convention with a single theme of instilling more socialist rights to the people. That’s more likely. Since when do conservatives have enough votes to control the agenda? If they had all this power we would not suffer socialists and RINOs.

That site presents false choices between do nothing or sign onto their scheme to allow liberals to amend the Constitution to suit their purposes. Since only conservatives follow or care about the Conservatives I see only negative rather than positive outcomes of any constitutional convention. No thanks.

Pete — I read the garbage at that site. It doesn’t address my concerns that I stated in my last post and has not been thought through. No offense to you but it is one of the lamest idea floated around for quite a while. People with more ideals than brains.

I am with you. But don’t beat yourself up. Flake lied to us straight to our faces. But he was better than the dim running against him. Hope we can primary both Flake and McCain out rather than just not voting and putting dims in.

My thoughts exactly. I'm actually thinking McCain will retire when his term is up, but Flake will no doubt run again.

Bring on the Primaries!

Grahamnesty probably voted against for cover. He is on his way out in SC. The folks down there won’t get fooled again. Notice that all the folks with serious primary challengers are not part of this list.

Barney Frank, when he heard of this vote, said, “Oh, shit. It’s too late for me to buy a new dress and wear it in Congress”.

To which Keith Ellison said, “I’ve got a new burqua in my closet which I can lend you for formal affairs”.

Nancy Pelosi was jealous.

I’m really happy that Washington Un. wants to make the campus a place where everyone is welcome. I’m sending over a dozen Nazi-uniformed wackos to enroll.

This should prove to be interesting! The MSA will welcome them; liberal Jewish lawyers will defend their rights to wear what they want; and the Black students will shit in their pants. Two out of three ain’t bad!
