You and I are different on peas. I bought three kinds of pea seed. None are vines. I really like the pods in stir fries. I gave up on anything “vine” on my back wall when the bean vines cooked to death in Texas sun. Bush is fine, but not vines. The only food plants I want that grow tall, are the tomatoes and the “T” Italian squash. I looked at the height of the tomatoes I ordered and they aren't going to be eight footers or more as some of you grow.

I cannot get that Citrus tree place in south Texas to respond to emails and that website that says to click to buy from them does not work, so I'm still trying to find a dwarf “Improved Meyer Lemon” Tree to buy that Texas allows to come here. It's possible Lowes in Texas will have them. I think I looked on Lowes on the net and there were none to buy yet.

My feral tobacco plant has grown visibly since I left the house this morning. It likes being indoors on the sunshelf.

Actually, pea vines might work, as long as you plant them to mature in the spring before the really bad summer heat.
