Kinda makes me ill to see ‘our’ guys with that lying sack of ****.

Not sure how we lost yesterday, to a team who can’t win in our house! Arggg...ok ok, their rookie goalie was ‘on’?!

I agree. I watched it from the Blackhawks web site. It looked to me, like many of the players were going through the motions, like some of them did not want to be there. As far as yesterday, the goal tender stole that one. I think the Hawks won everything but the game.

You are far braver than I, there was no way I was going to watch any of that today. Yes, gotta hand it to that rookie goalie, he’s going to be a problem :)

Are you in the Chicago area or just a fan?

I’m surprised hockey players would even go. They’re such down to earth guys. Oh wait, that’s right, it’s the Blackhawks. Never mind.

I am from Minnesota/North Dakota, so I am a Twins and Vikings fan. What a hassle that is. I was a Blackhawks fan when it was a 6 team league. I am in Northern California now.

Actually, I cheer for the Sharks, except when they play the Blackhawks.

They won the cup in June. So why are they just going to the White House now?? Maybe Obama needs some kind of a positive press op.

just ignore who gives importance to whom..who invites to whom in white house...just support the sports and sportsmanship..and players the most.

I have to disagree with people who think the Blackhawks should change their name. The team’s first owner was coffee tycoon Frederic McLaughlin, who had been a commander with the 333rd Machine Gun Battalion of the 86th Infantry Division during World War I. This Division was nicknamed the “Blackhawk Division”, after a Native American of the Sauk nation, Chief Black Hawk, who was a prominent figure in the history of Illinois. The team was named after a person, not a tribe or a race of people. One person, Chief Black Hawk.
