They won the cup in June. So why are they just going to the White House now?? Maybe Obama needs some kind of a positive press op.

I have to disagree with people who think the Blackhawks should change their name. The team’s first owner was coffee tycoon Frederic McLaughlin, who had been a commander with the 333rd Machine Gun Battalion of the 86th Infantry Division during World War I. This Division was nicknamed the “Blackhawk Division”, after a Native American of the Sauk nation, Chief Black Hawk, who was a prominent figure in the history of Illinois. The team was named after a person, not a tribe or a race of people. One person, Chief Black Hawk.
