Saturday Night Live and Kerry Washington made a big splash with the show's cold open, in which the Scandal star helped SNL address critics who say the show's cast lacks diversity.

You have to scroll down to see the Video of her singing. Not sure if it is her voice but she does a great job on the parody of that ridiculous Fox song.. Of course Al Sharpton shows up to emphasize a point about diversity at the end of the opening skit

I love that SNL made fun of it, addressed it,,and basically says..too bad. Don't think Lorne Michaels is going to do much about it,.

The Fox song is a parody. Taking something so ridiculous and trying to make it sound like a serious song could only be a parody.

Anyone remember the Numa Numa song?

For a song that was only supposed to be seen by a few Norway folks..the Music company sure is going after folks. Fox Broadcaster’s parody got their video taken down.

Watching Matt Lauer put on a fox headband on his bald head to look relevant was amusing though as he introduced the group.

Of course Dancing with the Stars couldn’t resist using the song, either

Kerry Washington was very good. SNL is no longer Belushi-Akroyd-Radner-Curtain-Eddy Murphy funny but there were some pretty funny skits Saturday night.

I quit watching this really good show when it kept creeping with more in your face PDA of the two gay guys and the final straw was the conrived undressing of each other in order ensure neither was wearing a wire.

At that point, it turned into Ellen DeGeneres and was deleted from my DVR.

These days I occasionally run into the Ellen show when flipping channels and am reminded that she is brilliant but, the whole pushing gaydom in your face was stupid.

I like her talk show but, I don’t have the stomach to watch “Scandal” anymore.

This woman is a big Obozo tool.
After this SNL debacle, she came to VA with Obozo yesterday to shill for McAwful...
Screw her and the train she rode in on....

Why don’t you watch Scandal anymore? It is a pretty good show.

Kerry Washington is very beautiful. A rare classic beauty especially in Scandal. She is extraordinary.

Well so she likes Obama. A lot of actors liked Bush and support conservatives. Where is Patricia Heaton? Why wasn’t she in Virginia stumping for Cicc? Conservatives are lazy overall. Democrats are supportive of each other which is why we keep getting our butts handed to us.

Because last season they were pushing the gay stuff just way too much and it culminated, for me, when the two gay characters stood there for minutes playing striptease to ensure each wasn’t wearing a wire.

The show is astounding but, I felt if they were going to go Ellen DeGeneres and take their BS that far then it wasn’t something I wanted to watch.

They could have left it at Modern Family level and I would still be watching.

Maybe I’ll go back to watching it.

Great show, it had just pushed to far on that one issue.

I haven't seen the show in years, but if you know Wes Anderson's films, this parody from the week before was very funny.

Nowadays if anything on the show is particularly good, you'll hear about it on the Internet and somebody will have posted clips on YouTube.

So no need to waste your Saturday night or even watch the whole thing at some other time.
