Tis the season to be gluttonous, so Frito-Lay is rolling out milk chocolate-covered wavy potato chips.
The limited-edition $3.49 5-ounce bags will be shipped to Target stores starting today and will be on sale throughout the holiday season, a Frito-Lay spokesperson tells TIME. If consumers like them, the company will evaluate whether to make them permanent.
While chocolate-covered pretzels are a familiar sight, USA Today also cites the trend of sweet and salty potato chip flavors that have been on the market like Kettles maple-bacon or sweet n salty Bugles flavors, like caramel and chocolate peanut butter.

The only travesty I can see is that they don’t come in packages bigger than five ounces. I second the dark chocolate motion too!

Time is suggesting there otta be a law. Surely, with so many pages of law and regulations, someone thought to make such snacks illegal.
Well, some of these types of laws have been on the books for some time. For instance, restaurants in Wisconsin must serve butter. Even the Kentucky Fried Chickem in Wisconsi serves butter rather than "Better Spread".

I think a little something was lost when the EU gutted Germany's beer purity laws to make way for Budweiser etc.

I had a chocolate covered potato chip last week. It was very good. It was from a candy store, wrapped in foil.
To: Daffynition
That doesn’t sound too good.
But, occasionally, I will use potato chips to dip into soft vanilla ice cream.
The combo of the sweet ice cream and salty potato chips makes for an interesting treat.

This might come as a shock to Miss Waxman, but strange as it seems, people can actually choose not to eat these things.
