Did a hungover Secret Service agent accidentally shoot JFK?
The Globe and Mail ^ | Nov. 02 2013 | JOHN DOYLE

Posted on 11/03/2013 8:58:27 AM PST by rickmichaels

And so it begins – the plentiful coverage of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of U.S. president John F. Kennedy. The date itself is weeks away and there will be countless commemorative programs, specials and copious punditry on TV.

JFK: The Smoking Gun (Sunday, Discovery, 8 p.m.) is one of the most controversial of the bunch. Made for the tiny U.S. cable channel Reelz, it’s a two-hour docudrama based on the book of the same name by former Australian police detective Colin McLaren. He claims to have spent years on “the forensic cold-case investigation of JFK’s assassination” and says he believes he has found “the smoking gun” that killed the president. His conclusion is not the accepted story.

Kennedy's head was angled downward, chin down, after the shot through the lower neck. That's when the trailing car SS agent raised his rifle, turned safety off.. At that moment the car he was in lurched forward in response to emergency and that's when SS agent's finger accidentally pulled trigger, striking Kennedy through the back of the skull with 'exploding bullet' exiting through top front of skull. Oswald's bullets were not 'fragmenting bullets'. His actual bullet is in tact. There were MANY tiny bullet fragments inside Kennedy's brain. X-Rays show this. Brain is 'lost' because his brain implicates the SS agent and was made to be lost. Cover-up.

I suggest you see the documentary "JFK: The Smoking Gun". It's pretty darned good!

Here's the rifle that accidentally killed Kennedy. This is the chase car behind Kennedy's limo:

Does someone have contrary evidence to the suggestion that it was impossible for the full metal jacket bullet to cause the explosive damage of the head shot? That was one of the pillars of the “Smoking Gun” documentary argument...that ballistics demonstrated that Kennedy was hit with two different bullets (full metal jacket (neck) vs hollow point (head).

FYI: I’m not trying to “challenge” anyone here. I’m not a ballistics expert and I’m genuinely curious as to whether the claim in the documentary holds any water. I admit that I just skimmed many of the posts, but I don’t recall seeing it addressed. Could someone provide clarification or otherwise direct me to the related post? Thanks!

No. Jackie, enraged over Marylyn Monroe stories, plugged both him and Connoly, then tried to escape over the trunk before the Secret Service put her back in the car.

How can one man be so wrong?

As my decades of exhaustive research and photographic development by patented super proprietary methods of images from the "Grassy Knoll" prove beyond the slightest shadow of scientific doubt, Jack was shot by Joe Dimaggio, who was out for revenge over the Marylin Monroe Affair. He also, as night logically follows day, shot Bobby. Same reason.

See author Stephen Hunter: The Third Bullet. He just may be onto something there.

let’s see, if I just accidentally blew kennedy’s brain out of his skull and all over the streets of Dealey Plaza I know the first thing I’d do is keep waving my rifle around in the air as we raced towards Parkland Hospital down Stemmons freeway .......seems like the logical thing to do

your post made me laugh out loud, so ill-informed at best. “defects to the USSR marries then returns to the US in 1962.” How is defector Oswald simply allowed to return to the country, with the full cognizance of the FBI etc? Who is pretending to be Oswald in Mexico City just before the JFK assassination, attempting to contact the head of the Russian assassination service, that even Hoover/FBI memo said was not Oswald (clear evidence of someone setting Oswald up for patsy)? How is it that Oswald’s real friends turn out to be anti-Castroites like Ferrie, anti-communist white russians like deMohrenschildt? de Mohrenschildt’s long-since documented intelligence connections with Radio Free Europe, key RFE officials Allen Dulles and Cord Meyer, and CI chief James Angleton. The Dallas-Fort Worth community of Soviet and Eastern European emigres - referred to as “White Russians” - took Oswald and his family under their wing upon their arrival from the USSR in May 1962. The White Russian community harbored an underground anti-Soviet movement known as the NTS. deMohrenschildt was subpoenaed to appear before HCSA but died just before his appearance, either suicide or murdered. In his address book was found the name/phone number of George HW (Poppy) Bush . . . aka our 41st president

First, this does not deal with the “Mortal Error” theory but in general about the assassination.

Previously, I had not seen this photo on the right, rather than cut and paste the whole big thing, I will just link it:

Side by side two pictures of that grassy knoll area at the same time.

This is from a book by the author Groden.

“This is the USA, we generally have trials to establish guilt, not like some Communist Nation.”

Corrected:

“This is the USA, we generally USED TO have trials to establish guilt, not like some Communist Nation.”

Using the same PO Box that was used for the mail-order gun, allegedly Oswald sent a letter to join the Communist Party USA:

The Communist Party USA Chairman Gus Hall:

“He said, ‘I put it in a file because when I read the letter I thought he was an agent and didn’t want to respond to it.’ Hall was suspicious of the way the letter was written. It brought up a lot of red flags.”

We’ll have to see how this story pans out.

Ladyjane is correct about the window. If there is plexiglass today it wasn’t there when I leaned out the window. In the past, that window was always open and anyone could walk up to it and lean out because they kept it open halfway. It has a wide ledge obstructing the view until past the window, signal light and street sign. A shooter would have had to have been leaning way out onto the ledge and in full view of everyone.

Oswald did it. Anyone that has stood in that window in Dallas knows he easily could have done it. I could hit a target at that very short distance with a pistol, a rock, a small toy, anything. It was VERY close in and a direct shot.

I have stood in that window and I agree. The first thought that came to mind was what an easy shot it would have been. And Oswald had a four-power scope! I probably could have made the shot just using the iron sights on the rifle.

LBJ was a driven man, he had to be POTUS, I mean he HAD TO BE POTUS!!!! The ONLY way he could get there is if JFK died in office. “When there a will there's a way!”

Picture yourself as Nellie Connally. Would you allow your school aged children to be around a murderer? Would you let an evil man who very nearly killed your husband to sit at your dining table while you served him? If you were Lady Bird, would you be able to show your face in Nellie's house? The Johnson family and the Connally family were the closest of friends. Lyndon and John were best friends. Lady Bird and Nellie were best friends for years until the day they died. They bought lake homes right across from each other. On Friday afternoons, I watched the helicopters flying in and shortly after they'd be boating on the lake (renamed Lake LBJ to get him to build a bridge from the road by his house into Kingsland, TX). They'd have parties and were always at each other's homes. No, I have never believed one word that LBJ had anything to do with the assassination.

I highly suspect that’s not the correct window in that photo. That is probably a window further south. The real window is north of the light which isn’t shown in this picture.

“You” would do anything to protect a friend! “I” would do anything to protect a friend!

LBJ? I don’t think so. He was too selfish and driven to be president. Anything or anyone who got in his way was not as important as him being president.

“I probably could have made the shot just using the iron sights on the rifle.”

Without question. No even being sarcastic at all when I saw many people could have made that shot with a revolver.

Not when you build up a platform with boxes the way Oswald did.

There is a little game download called JFK Reloaded that puts you in the window with the scoped rifle. Aiming with a mouse is much harder than aiming a real rifle, but the shot can be made pretty often anyway. The game shows the approaching motorcade and the turn and trees and lights.
