Sandals and a loincloth?
Wonder what they do if a blood crazed islamist showed up.

Praise him for his tolerance and love of others—until he blows himself up.
I’m sure if that same kid was wearing a Che Guevara or a I hate Republicans t-shirt everything would be fine.
Atheist Marxists are easily offended.
Pray America is Waking Up
You know that's true.
When did Halloween costumes change from ghosts and goblins to celebrities and icons? Am I THAT old that I missed it all?
If he was dressed as a Muzzy suicide bomber he would be praised for his attention to multi-culturalism!
If he was dressed as Buddha, Gandhi, Joseph Smith, or the Rebbe Schneerson the collectivists at his school would do the same.
What are the names of the teachers that were allegedly offended? Let's get their names out there. Bureaucrats use being offended as their ultimate trump card. And if they can play it while remaining anonymous, that's even better.
I wonder how many kids went dressed like the devil.
Or his son.
‘Teachers”...”educators”...what misnomers.
I wonder what other costumes were worn. I bet most of them were offensive in some way.
Well, I would agree presenting oneself as the son of God is a tricky one. True, there were other students dressed as religious figures, such as Moses. Moses was a human being though, not the divine savior. So, I *can* see where some Christian students might not feel comfortable with it.
At the same time, however, intent is important here. From the looks of the picture, this child is representing Jesus is a respectful, inspiring way. That should count for a lot. It would be one thing if it was some left-tard wanting to be insulting/blasphemous with “Transgendered Jesus” or some rot. But a student who appears to have been sincere in his faith and is cherishing with his costume is a very different scenario, IMHO.
Of course, the school was fine with him dressing up as Snoop Dogg the previous year, so I don’t think the administrator’s objections were particularly concerned with nuance or intent.
And I agree with what others are saying - Che Guevera or the like probably would have been just fine with the school
(good gravy, what a mess!)
I am offended by the images on their calendar, including a sword fight and a female mating dance... :p

No need to fight irrationality with irrationality, those images do not contain anything that could be considered offensive by anyone who is not completely thin skinned. No need to sink to the level of those who objected to his costume.
:p
Connotes sarcasm, playfulness, sticking one's tongue out. I.e. I'm betting he wasn't serious.
Christ offended many when he walked the Earth as one of us and he offends many still. His message was and is difficult and controversial. That He is still hated should not surprise us. The more things change .
