Over the last ten years gas prices have risen 190 percent, reports the UK Telegraph, and electricity prices have risen 120 percent over that time period. UK households now spend more than 27 percent of their earnings on housing, water, gas, electricity and petrol.

So what. There’s a cure for that - it is called getting up in the morning before 11AM and walking out the door to a J-O-B.
Reduce the population of Earth to 500,000,000 by any means required.
Use whatever means required to make energy prices "necessarily skyrocket.
Cheap energy is prosperity for the masses.
Expensive energy is poverty and death for the masses.
27% for housing, utilities and gasoline is really not that bad. Actually if it really is 27%, that’s pretty good IMO
They are very generous with welfare benefits for the Muslim immigrants in Briton, but they can’t help their own elderly citizens with heating bills?
The cause of rising energy prices in the UK is “green” policies that force the use of more expensive and inefficient “renewable” sources for electric power and curtailing the use of cheaper fossil fuels so Prince Charles doesn’t have to worry about climate change giving his polo ponies heat stroke. The cost of gasoline (petrol) has always been sky high in the UK and Europe due to crushing taxes.
