After ranking the Best States for Gun Owners in 2013, were back to rank the Best Concealed Carry States.
Since federal law specifically addressing the issuance of concealed carry licenses does not yet exist in the U.S., individual states are left with the task of regulating concealed carry laws within their own borders.
Over the past few decades, most states in the country have gradually shifted their carry laws to become less restrictive. Despite fewer restrictions, legally carrying a concealed firearm remains vastly different from one state to anotherand in some cases one town to another. The diversity of laws naturally creates ambiguity around the entire topic of concealed carry legislation.
Aside from background checks, training requirements and application fees, states are generally classified into one of four categories, based on how they issue licenses.

This is a little out of date. Nevada no longer has a requirement to list the firearms you intend to carry.
you know what is weird is everone around here had gun racks in their pickup trucks and now they are gone but open carry is the law in idaho and its a damn sight fer sure if you see one in my back window i gots one closer to hand and if some revenooer thinks theys a changin that...
That is whole or in part participle to the fact of you being in a condition that would cause any enforcement agency to stop you. Drive the speed limit. Be valid in insurance, license, etc. etc.
Wrong.
Southern Arizona has many Border patrol checkpoints. You will stop there.
Plus they may stop unknown vehicles near the border to see who or what is in there.
Reservation police have been known to have DUI checkpoints for obvious reasons. You will stop there.
Both may or may not ask about firearms.
How is that for a start?
As I stated Arizona is number one, but there are caveats
I am not southern.
My point is is why the flyin eff should you have to care about concealed carry?
Here in Michigan, We Should be Ranked Near the Top, as We Have both Open-Carry, and Concealed Carry. And, I take advantage of both of them.
in wa we have right handed, left handed, multi-handed, open and concealed carry.
.
Yea you’ve just been in CA too long.
There’s not a damn thing in the Second Amendment about the government being able to set training requirements or requiring you notify officers that one is armed.
Now if a person does something reckless or is unskilled with the gun then there may be other legal consequences.
It’s just like with early American drug control. There was none.
But your behavior while under the influence was held to the same standard as everyone else.
Regulating unlawful behavior is one thing. Regulating or prohibiting possession is another.
Of course I’m speaking very broadly here.
This Illinois Marine unable to defend himself due to no CCW.

Doesn’t CA give out drivers licenses to illegal aliens?
(I’m assuming if/where they do, no test of skills or knowledge is required)
Pretty bad piece in terms of fact. A little research would have saved it. As it is it’s pretty useless.
The list shows Oregon having reciprocity with 4 states. Oregon doesn’t recognize any other state CHLs.
That makes sense. Turn a 2 minute traffic stop into a 30 minute tense situation just because you have a gun on your person.
Great thinking/s
And go to youtube and search for “dea agent classroom”.
You sound clueless beyond belief regarding 2A issues.
