Shouting?

More like a lot of weird chanting and strange sounds............I suspect the gen-x/y/z types have just given up on writing (hah, they can't read cursive!) or even remembering lyrics.

Strange sounds and primitive chanting to computer generated "music" sound tracks are good enough to sell to the brain dead Obunga voters of that same generational grouping.

And they wonder why older Freepers piss on them so much.

Amazing to remember what a REAL band sounded like.

I get so sick of the pap coming out of the gym's speakers. Even the kids are all listening to their iKotex or whatever they are, ignoring the garbage on the sound system.

Sometimes, increasing deafness has it's blessings. Some years back I had to wear earplugs or bring a FM jammer to block the station the grungers that ran the gym insisted on playing.

Henley. Waldens Pond. Ecowacko. I like it when they just shut up and sing or play and leave the politics to the, uh, “pros”.

Here is a little known fact about Joe Walsh. He has been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1961.

Joe was a classmate of mine at Kent State. We tried out for the same bands during Freshman Orientation Week. He use my Dr Z Maz Jr amp when he played at the R & R Hall of Fame.

Did one of those openings happen to be in Traverse City MI?

They played two shows that day. An afternoon matinee for the kiddies, (including me) and a later show for the growed-ups (when all the good stuff was going on).

That was my first “real” rock concert. The beginning of a long life of “ruptured tympanic membrane” music. (Burst eardrums, in case you’re wondering).

Ah. Somewhat removed I’d say. You probably never heard of a place called Traverse City until now. I doubt JG did until that day.
