Maria 'was groomed to be a child bride': Police claim girl found in gipsy camp .....
DailyMail ^ | 23 October 2013 | By Ben Spencer

Police now believe that Maria, who is thought to be four or five, was being prepared for marriage at the age of 12.

Her pale skin, near-white hair and blue eyes would have made her a ‘prize bride’ among the gipsy community.

She would have fetched Salis and Dimopoulou a large dowry, according to police sources.

Officers investigating the case believe the prospect of a bridal pay-off is why Maria had not yet been sold.

She was treated as an ‘investment’ to be nurtured and protected until she reached the traditional Roma ‘coming of age’ - usually at the age of 12.

Maria was given her own room in the brick-built house where she was discovered, in the gipsy settlement of Tabakou on the edge of Farsala, central Greece.

There is growing evidence she was used by Salis and Dimopoulou to beg and dance for money.

They also made money from child benefit payments she entitled them to.

Neighbours say the couple purchased Maria for as little as £850 from a Bulgarian couple when she was a baby.

Detectives are now looking into the possibility that she was offered cheap by a gang on the run from police. The gang, smuggling children from Bulgaria into Greece, may have intended to sell her to a wealthy Greek couple for up to £22,000.

The photo says it all. The male gypsy captor with the “Just Do It” t-shirt looks like he could be a liberal poster boy.

And, so far, no one has come forward to claim this little girl?

As a side note - Did you see some of the comments after that article?

Here's one:

"A world wide system needs to be introduced where every child born is reordered, i.e. hair colour, eye colour, D.O.B, nationality and above all else their DNA, this information needs to then be available to be available to police worldwide to help things like this from happening."

And another:

"Seems simple enough to stamp this practice out - just ensure all children are DNA tested at birth and cross referenced with the family, then must have this documented on their birth certificate. Would also help reduce crimes such as rape later on when they grow up. We all know it's going that way anyway, might as well introduce testing now. I wonder how many children would disappear from such families if they knew a testing squad was on the way?"

:-0 Just wow.

There is a reason Gypsies have been hated and persecuted for Centuries. It is no coincidence they formed the basis for the word “gyped”.

Heartrending child abduction cases: the perfect excuse for a global police state apparatus.

When the Mark of the Beast is being imposed, it will be sold to the people with the old “it’s for the children” argument.

It’s sick. Greece was historically a mid-east country. Hitler singled out the Gypsies. The hung out at tourist spots in Spain and picked pockets.

I’m surprised that they aren’t calling for RFID micro-chipping at birth.

I spoke too soon. The girl's biological mother has been located:

GIRL'S BIOLOGICAL MOTHER FOUND

DNA tests have confirmed that a 35-year-old Bulgarian Roma woman is the mother of a mysterious girl in Greece known as Maria ... Genetic profile of Sasha Ruseva matched that of the girl ... Ruseva has said she gave birth to a baby girl four years ago in Greece while working as an olive picker, and gave the child away because she was too poor to care for her.

At this point, this case sounds more like an adoption than an abduction.

Authorities allege Dimopoulou claimed to have given birth to six children in less than 10 months, and 10 of the 14 children the couple had registered as their own are unaccounted for. It is not clear whether the 10 children are real or were made up to cheat the Greek welfare system.

I suspect the children are fictional. I remember when the IRS started requiring a Social Security number for dependent children claimed as tax exemptions, a lot of children "disappeared," i.e., had never existed.

welfare+globalization=administrative despotism

Can't have the first two without the third.

It’s no wonder the gypsies have been hated all over Europe, if this is common behavior.
