Did she fall in love with its length or girth?

(Hey, someone had to ask!)

Anyway, I hope it was a Cantilever, not one those wimpy Suspensions.

If the marriage is annulled it’s spanned.

Or has it been suspended?

Still I admit she’s on the beam!

There must be a lot of trussed between them.

Quite the hasty marriage. I wonder if she's in a family way?

‘He makes me feel connected to the earth and draws me to rest from my endless nomadic wanderings. He is fixed, stable, rooted to the ground, while I am nomadic, transient, ever on the road.

‘He gives me a safe haven, brings me back to ground myself, and then lets me go again to follow my own path, without trying to keep me tied down or in thrall to his needs or desires. I am devoted to him.’

The poor deluded soul. She fell for all of that. She'll be the last to know that he keeps a troll[up] under the bridge.

And the last argument that the ‘slippery slope’ theory was wrong just collapsed.

Years ago, I said that if you point to any item in the Sears or JC Penny catalog, that somewhere in the world there is someone that either wants to have sex with it or worship it as a god. I guess I underestimated the ability of humans to sink to depravity.

In civil engineering parlance....it's called *dry laid.* Really.

The most beautiful dry laid bridge, I've ever seen.

“Wait until she seeks a divorce claiming irreconcilable differences and then wants alimony.”

If that’s the case, I hope it’s a toll bridge.
